Ira Sterling is an attorney whose practice is primarily focused on estate planning, probate, worker injury and elder law. As a graduate of University of Maine School of Law, Ira has learned of the needs of the Maine community and works hard to meet those needs every day.
During law school, he worked as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, where he provided legal representation to low income clients in an assortment of civil and criminal matters. Following law school, Ira has worked in higher education administration and practiced law in northern Maine, where he worked primarily on family law, criminal defense, and probate matters. Before law school, Ira earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Guilford College where he graduated with honors.
Ira lives in Gardiner. He spends his free time playing and recording music, and plays many instruments, most recently focusing on synthesizers and electronic music. Ira also enjoys cooking, baking, photography, and spending time outside in nature.
